The saint Therese Sisters DAY CARE and NURSERY SCHOOL, Kijwire was established on January 2018 with the main Aim of establishing this day care was to provide safer and secured care to children aging from two years to 5 years.

The centre is located in Muleba District in Kagera Region, the district of Muleba is growing very faster and is becoming heavily populated due to this fact that it is on the center people moving in and out from the neighboring districts and countries like Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda the majority of the inhabitants of Muleba are either government employees or entrepreneurs of bigger and small business who are urged by the situation to leave their home places early in the morning and report back very late in the evening. So their young children need a safer and secured place where they can stay while their parents/ guardians are at their working places.

Therefore, Therese sisters Day care Centre has created the place for taking care of these young children. By so doing, there are some children by age they have to start a nursery school.

It is now the second year since the centre started the initiative. Children have started studying and the registration is already done.

The centre is growing. Our dream is to see those children starting the nursery school joining the Pre- primary school at our centre, so that they can be gain from sater and secured Environment and get better education leading them to better Tanzania citizens.
